Final push in the photo contest Photography Festival "National Park Wadden Sea" - Deadline: 31/03/2011
On 29 April 2011 will start the fourth Photography Festival National Park Wadden Sea, with lectures, workshops and a photography competition in the Storm Husum.
National Park Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea is one of the last great wilderness areas in Europe and in 2009 together with the Wadden Sea taken before the Lower Saxony and the Dutch coast in the UNESCO list of World Natural Heritage Site.
Because of its unique nature, which is shaped by the daily game of ebb and flow, the Wadden Sea is of course a paradise for photographers. The festival invites so again this year to a photo competition that fit thematically, the Wadden Sea as a tender theme.
are looking for the most beautiful, intimate and revealing photos that reflect the uniqueness of this habitat. This is mainly due to the individual perspective this world natural heritage to. Participants will discover the diversity of this landscape and maintain their wilderness, beauty, animal and plant life with all its hidden details in photographs.
The winners will receive attractive prizes such as a voucher worth 500, - € AC-Photo, a photo flight over the Wadden Sea, a photo seminar GEO photographers Heinz devil and a weekend on the island Pellworm. The winning pictures of the competition are from 11 June to 24 July in the eco-hotel in Miramar Tönning and from 27.8. to 9.10. presented in the house of a spa guest in Friedrichskoog in an exhibition. brief information about the background of the festival:
The Photo Festival National Park Wadden Sea in 2005 was the collaboration between the Adult Education Husum Association and the National Park Wadden Sea, Tonning, life called. Dr. Günter Klatt (Husum Community College) and Dr. Martin Stock (National Park Service Wadden Sea, Schleswig-Holstein) were initiated the first hour. You have the Festival in 2005 to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of the National Park Schleswig-Holstein in life. Since then, it is held every two years in Husum. With various presentations, the organizers want the festival to the last wilderness areas outside the front door to draw attention and guide the visitors the nature of the world heritage areas, national parks, biosphere reserves and other protected areas in mind. And this has been achieved. Many nature-loving visitors and nature photographers have visited the last three festivals and were inspired by the large number of deals of exhibitions, Lectures, workshops ranged up to a photo exhibition.
